Apostle Peter (writing): …not returning evil for evil or insult for insult, but giving a blessing instead; for you were called for the very purpose that you might inherit a blessing.

For as those who will inherit eternal life, believers — indeed — receive God’s blessing, AND, likewise, as they pursue righteousness, are called to bless others.
