For the Pharisees of Jesus’ time, because they led such extremely disciplined lifestyles, their answer (at least for them) would be obvious. In today’s message we’re privy to such a dinner conversation, in which the Lord brings these very religious men face to face with the Truth.

Description: It’s one of the ugliest chapters in the first book of Bible, and yet God sometimes uses negative examples to teach.

Today on Scandia Bible Church Podcast, Pastor Monty Simao continues with our study in the book of Genesis where we witness humanity’s stench of sin open for inspection in chapter 34. For in this passage we are reminded that even the patriarchs failed and compromised, and that, shamefully, as it happened, the sons of Israel missed the beauty of the covenant that was right before them – turning, instead, what God called sacred into what could only be described as savage.
