Description: One wedding and two funerals… It would seem, using simple math, that the bad would outweigh the good. But not in this case.
Today on Scandia Bible Church Podcast, Pastor Monty Simao continues with our study in the book of Genesis and shows us that in the first half of chapter 25 these very ceremonies are recorded. But instead of an overwhelm of despair, we see the baton of God’s promise pass to a new generation, and we see the hope of God’s people – which extends beyond the grave.

Holiness is an EFFECT – not a cause. Often, people believe that they need to “get better” in order to qualify for salvation. Today on Scandia Bible Church podcast, Pastor Monty Simao continues our verse-by-verse preaching through the book of Genesis… and doesn’t skip any of them – including Genesis 21:22-34… a cluster of verses that may, at first, seem “mundane,” hidden between the birth of Isaac, sending Ishmael away, and God’s testing of Abraham to sacrifice Isaac on Mount Moriah.
