Monty Simao 2014Sermon Notes

Date: 06/04/2017

Preacher: Monty Simao, pastor

Series: Genesis

Key Text: Genesis 25:1-18

SBC logo 204x204Description: One wedding and two funerals… It would seem, using simple math, that the bad would outweigh the good. But not in this case.

Today on Scandia Bible Church Podcast, Pastor Monty Simao continues with our study in the book of Genesis and shows us that in the first half of chapter 25 these very ceremonies are recorded. But instead of an overwhelm of despair, we see the baton of God’s promise pass to a new generation, and we see the hope of God’s people – which extends beyond the grave.

June 2, 2013

Sermon Notes

Date: 06/02/2013

Preacher: Keith Barker, elder

Key Text: Psalm 122:6

Description: The most important city in the world is Jerusalem. Its history past, present, and future is the history of mankind. Jesus was presented there as a child, and 30 years later concluded His ministry outside the walls on a cruel cross. It’s a rare day that the evening news does not mention Jerusalem.
