In order for God’s Church to function as He intends, we have to CARE.
Today on Scandia Bible Church Podcast, Pastor Josh Peglow brings us a message from Paul’s letter to the Thessalonians exhorting the congregation to CARE about each other’s walk with God.
Paul wasn’t addressing the unruly, fainthearted, or weak…
…but addressing those who were in position to help those people — to notice, come alongside, invest in, and care for those very people around them that were struggling — giving wisdom from above.
Description: The Apostle Paul was an intelligent highly educated man. In his humanity he could have easily thought of himself as being superior to others. To make him usable, and to keep him humble, God graciously gave Paul a special gift which Paul describes as a ‘thorn in the flesh’.
Description: If the only section of Jonah we had was section three, it would be an entirely different book. But God has seen fit to preserve for us chapters 1, 2, and 4 and thereby display for us His amazing grace and mercy and His ability to use even weak and failing men to accomplish great things for His glory. God is the God of the Crushed. God uses the Crushed to Accomplish Great Things
Description: God has created and placed in every person an awareness of good and bad. We all use this marvelous tool daily but we don’t often identify it as conscience.
