SBC Host: WARNING… Do not be excessively righteous or too wise.
Avg Guy:Come again??
Today on Scandia Bible Church Podcast, Pastor Monty Simao continues with our study in the book of Ecclesiastes and confirms that we too would likely be surprised by this warning in the Bible.
After all, if we are called to be like Christ, and He was PERFECTLY righteous, is it even possible to be TOO righteous?
Average Guy:The Cross? The Cross is a joke! It’s for fools. It lacks any intellectual fortitude or logical reasoning. If I’m going to believe in such a fairy tale, I need some solid proof.
Today on Scandia Bible Church Podcast, brother in Christ, Josh Peglow, fills in at the pulpit to share a concept in the the Bible that at first to the believer may seem incredulous (and wrong): the Cross as foolishness.
But that’s exactly how God wants it to be seen. His intent is to turn conventional wisdom on its head. For as we begin to understand why He wants it this way, we begin to see the depth and richness of His power through it.
…And then we begin to realize where the foolishness really lies.
Description: Our Redeemer lives. He was victorious over death the grave could not hold Him. Paul presents in 1 Corinthians 15 the facts concerning the resurrection of Christ to those at the church at Cornith.
