Key Text: James 1:26-27
Description: God has built into mankind a void that people desire to fill. Many try to satisfy that need with what they believe to be a relationship with God. The majority of people in the United states would refer to themselves as being religious. The father of lies, Satan, is well aware of man’s emptiness and has many false religions to meet that need. Today we are going to see in the Book of James the clear difference between superficial religion and supernatural religion. At the conclusion of the message, the listener is challenged to do a self test. It’s a chance to see if you indeed are a born again Christian.

Description: The difference between having religion and having salvation is clearly pictured in the story of Cain and Abel. The story centers around the sacrifices presented by these two boys. God accepted one and rejected the other.
