Description: The duties that a husband has toward his wife is not only a picture of atonement as Paul instructs husbands to love their wives as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her…but also a picture of sanctification as Paul provides the goal of the husband’s sacrifice and that is to sanctify his wife that he might present her to the Lord.

Today we live in a culture that not only has usurped God’s authority in redefining marriage, but has also pushed for role androgyny in every area of life. Now, more than ever, the clarity of Scripture is needed to bring the light of truth to these areas.
