We saw it on the road to Emmaus as he talked with the disciples, and we see it again in the last verses of the Bible.

In a single sentence in Revelation, Jesus shows that He is the fulfillment of every hope and promise of the Old Testament, as well as the coming Ruler and King who will bring about the new and final day.

Monty Simao 2014Sermon Notes

Date: 01/06/2019

Preacher: Monty Simao, pastor

Series: Revelation

Key Text: Revelation 5

Description: I saw in the right hand of Him who sat on the throne a book written inside and on the back, sealed up with seven seals. And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, ‘Who is worthy to open the book and to break its seals?’ And no one in heaven or on the earth or under the earth was able to open the book or to look into it. Then I began to weep greatly because no one was found worthy to open the book or to look into it….”

Today on Scandia Bible Church Podcast, Pastor Monty Simao continues with our study in book of Revelation and shows us that all of creation has waited to have the scroll of heaven open:  the book containing judgment and salvation; the book that will set in motion the providential plans of God to bring every wrong and evil to an end and to reward God’s people with everlasting life. But who is worthy to open the book? There is one!…  The Lion of the Tribe of Judah.  The Lamb who was slain.  Christ is worthy!

“To Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, be blessing and honor and glory and dominion forever and ever.”
