have in the Christian life?
Do they save us?
Do they make us acceptable to God?
Or do they belong to something
God has already done?
Today on Scandia Bible Church Podcast,
Pastor David Teves brings us to a passage in Ephesians
that leaves no room for confusion.
We are saved by grace,
through faith —
not as a result of works.
And yet the same grace that saves us
does not leave us with nothing to do.
For we are God’s workmanship,
created in Christ Jesus
for good works —
works that God Himself
prepared beforehand.
So the question is not
whether our works can save us.
They cannot.
The question is:
Having been saved by Christ,
what has He given us to do?
