How are we to represent God’s kingdom — a kingdom of hope —when chaos is all around us?
Today on Scandia Bible Church Podcast as Pastor Monty Simao continues his virtual preaching to our church body while we obey stay-at-home governmental mandates during the COVID-19 Pandemic, he shows us that Romans 13 gives us the answers to these questions.
Not only does it provide us the way to walk during crisis, but, perhaps more importantly, it provides us a way to live with the end in sight…and how, ultimately, the return of our Lord affects the way we live in the here and now.
Description: There were false teachers in the early church who were teaching that they were in fellowship with God even while they were living a life of immorality; and in today’s message, we see that John argues against such an idea.
Description: Even thought he was known as “The Teacher of Israel,” Nicodemus has his ignorance and unbelief of the scriptures exposed by Jesus. The truth that Jesus taught to Nicodemus and teaches the world today is “believe”.
Description: Nicodemus has his religious world turned upside down as Jesus reinforces His teaching that he must be born again to enter the Kingdom of God!
Description: Nicodemus, a Jewish religious leader, came to Jesus with questions. As he complemented Jesus and acknowledged His miracles, wisdom, and that He was from God, Jesus challenged him. He told him that he must be born again to enter the Kingdom of God!
Description: We first look at the man sent by God in the spirit and power of Elijah to testify of the coming Light. Then we gaze at the True Light and ponder the issues of rejection and acceptance.
Description: The contrast of darkness with light is easily described but in our life it can make days that are hard to live through. Difficult and challenging situations develop in and around each of us. Today we shall look at how some Bible characters dealt with darkness.
