Today on Scandia Bible Church Podcast, we learn from Pastor Monty Simao that that is exactly what God’s people were up against when the prophet Zechariah spoke to them.
Today on the podcast, we start a new study in Zechariah — a book filled with hope, reminders of God’s faithfulness, and a vision for restoration through Christ.
For what we see, in just the opening verses, is that in the midst of their discouragement and unfinished work, God’s message to His people — spoken through Zechariah — was clear:
Description: As Job is confronted with the wisdom of God, he no longer seeks vindication but repents in dust and ashes. God’s anger is kindled against Job’s friends who must go to Job to receive vindication with Job acting as their mediator. After this, God vindicates Job and all that he has lost and in so doing God vindicates His own name as well, showing that His wisdom and ways are beyond our understanding that He is righteous and right in all that He does.
