For in just the first two verses, not only does Peter’s salutation greet — but remind.
It reminds us of just who we are — through a complex set of mighty designations involving God the Father, the Holy Spirit, and the Son, Jesus Christ… Who’d make His entry into this world — helpless, naked, and lying in a manger.

Description: The Apostle Peter, in 1 Peter 3:13-17, tells his readers that they should not fear men and any suffering they might encounter. Quoting Isaiah 8:11-13, Peter writes that they should have a reverence for Jesus and be always ready to tell others why they have hope.
