The Risen Christ Enthroned [Acts 2:22-36]

April 5, 2026

Sermon Notes

Date: 04/05/2026, Easter Sunday

Preacher: Monty Simao, pastor

Key Text: Acts 2:22-36

Description:

What does Easter actually mean?

Is it simply that Jesus is alive…

…or is it something far greater?

Today on Scandia Bible Church Podcast, Resurrection Sunday 2026, Pastor Monty Simao takes us to the book of Acts —

where the apostle Peter stands and declares with bold clarity:

The Jesus who was crucified
has been raised by God,
exalted to His right hand,
and made both Lord and Christ.

This is not merely the announcement of life after death.

This is the declaration of a King enthroned.

The cross was not the end.
The resurrection was not the finale.

It was the coronation.

Because the first sermon ever preached about Easter didn’t stop at the empty tomb—

…it pointed
to the throne.
